Dual-Spin

A dual-spin classification marks tops able to rotate both clockwise and counterclockwise rather than being locked to a single direction, a capability also called Dual Rotation or LR. Interchangeable Spin Gears gave the original plastic line this trait once introduced, and every Hard Metal System top carries it standing, while later builds such as Torch Pegasus, Gravity Destroyer AD145WD and Variares D:D had the switch built directly into their frames. Burst-era combinations like Legend Spriggan 7 Merge and Master Diabolos Generate instead require the blader to take the top apart between matches to flip its spin direction. Since Beyblade Burst Rise introduced the Gatinko Layer System, some Burst pieces only mesh with parts sharing their spin direction, though dual-spin components tend to fit either side.

Claims We Could Not Check

  • Early HellsHammer and VictoryValkyrie Blade moulds from the X Series could accidentally launch left-spin, so later moulds added extra metal to stop it.
