Beyblade

Biography

Julia Fernandez is the elder and bossier of the Spanish twins, circus performers who blade the way they perform — as a choreographed double act. She grew up balancing Beyblades as a clown before turning to real battling, considers herself the stronger half of F-Dynasty, and takes the decisive second matches. Her Thunder Pegasus leads their synchronised tag attacks, and the twins are the best pure tag pair in the round robin, pushing Tyson and Daichi twice including the semi-final. She is among the first bladers trusted with a G-Core upgrade, and F-Dynasty finish third. Her story is learning to treat her brother as an equal; she is not picked for the final side against BEGA, and fights alongside the alliance anyway.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Julia wears her hair spiky and orange at the front, with long brown hair trailing down the back, above green eyes. Her outfit runs mainly red and yellow, styled after a Spanish matador.

Julia has a hot temper and a bossy streak that she uses freely on her twin brother, Raul. Being the older of the two, and more confident, she considers herself the strongest blader on the team and the one keeping it together, while the quieter, shyer Raul goes along with her without pushing back. She insists the two of them work together peacefully and never actually fight, a claim Mariah challenged, sparking an argument between the girls over how each treats her brother. Julia's confidence isn't just talk, though: she's genuinely one of the strongest beybladers in the tournament, the one girl shown fighting alongside the boys when every team banded together against BEGA, and she puts more time into practising than any of the other girls.

F-Dynasty

F-Dynasty builds its tournament plan around her: she and Raul open every tie together, then she takes the deciding second match alone, banking on being the stronger half of the act to see the team through the bracket. That plan carries them to third place, broken only when Tyson and Daichi finally read through the twins' synchronized attack in the semifinal rematch. Her push for a girl on the strongest lineup earns her one of the first G-Core upgrades, but not a spot on the final team against BEGA — she's left off it anyway, and fights alongside the alliance without the recognition she spent the tournament chasing.
