About This Part
Pisces is a Wheel manufactured by Takara Tomy for the Metal System line, first appearing in Japan on December 25th, 2008 inside the BB-25 Random Booster Vol. 2 Legend Pisces set. Its mold carries two clockwise-facing shark heads that taper toward their tails, with a ring of shark-tooth ridges near the launcher prong openings on the topside. The pointed shark heads sit too far inset to generate strong smash-style hits, so the smooth, rounded body instead lends itself to stamina and, thanks to its above-average heft, a degree of defensive holding power.
In Play
Competitive players consider Pisces surpassed by later stamina and defense options such as Earth and Basalt, leaving it valued mainly as a collectible rather than a tournament piece.
- Debuted in Japan on December 25th, 2008 with the BB-25 Random Booster Vol. 2 Legend Pisces set.
- Reissued by Takara Tomy in the BB-83 booster and the 4 Layers Special Edition.
