About This Part
Capricorne is a Takara Tomy Wheel released for the Metal System, debuting in Japan with the BB-27 Booster Capricorne 100HF on February 22nd, 2009. Its design borrows two features from a goat: two-toed hoof shapes at opposite ends and a pair of long, curving horns on each side, all connected by flat metal bridges to their neighboring hoof and to each other to guard against cracking. Those safeguards leave it with a rounded outline and only gentle slopes.
In Play
Its roundness hints at Stamina or Defense potential, and its slopes suggest Upper Attack, but Capricorne carries too little weight for the first two and has no sharp points for the second; being right-spin only also puts its slopes and hoof placement on the wrong side to help, turning the hooves into obstacles instead. The community has found little use for it since release, especially once the Hybrid Wheel System launched in Japan the following month, and rates it as collection-only.
