About This Part

Aries entered the Metal System as a Takara Tomy Wheel, first appearing in Japan inside the BB-13 Random Booster Vol. 1 Secret Aries on September 18, 2008. Three ram heads make up its design, each carrying a pair of horn spikes for six horns in total, meant to deflect incoming hits. It exists in two molds; the second, lighter casting fills in the gaps between head and horns and hollows out the underside of each horn.

In Play

Slight Upper Attack is about all it offers, since the wide gaps between horns hurt its Defense and frequent recoil undercuts its Stamina, and its unusually light weight compounds both weaknesses. Between the poor shape and the low mass, the community rates it as fit for a collection rather than a battle.

  • Debuted in Japan inside the BB-13 Random Booster Vol. 1 Secret Aries on September 18, 2008.
  • A second, lighter mold followed with filled horn gaps and a hollowed underside.
  • The Hybrid Wheel System's Cloud Fusion Wheel takes its design cues from Aries.
