Description
Aries 125D is a Defense Type Beyblade combining an Aries face bolt and metal wheel with a 125 spin track and a Defense performance tip. It launched Takara Tomy's Metal System random-booster line and was later reissued in Hong Kong with a slightly different wheel mold and paint hue.

The competitive view
Aries 125D consists of a face, the Aries metal wheel across its two mold variants (the second trading some reinforcement for lighter weight), the 125 track, and the D bottom, with a corrected weight and diameter figure for the metal wheel. Aries's small size and light weight relative to its large protrusions are reported to cause heavy recoil that outclasses the wheel entirely. The D bottom was once the best available stamina bottom but has since been surpassed by SD and WD, though it can still work in the specific Virgo 90D combination.
