About This Part
Valkyrie's armoured face and stylized V echo its Gatinko Chip forerunner, and the design nods to the valkyries of Norse legend. Takara Tomy released this right-spin Superking Chip in Japan on April 25th, 2020 inside the B-163 Booster, Brave Valkyrie Evolution' 2A, with Hasbro following in western markets under the name Valtryek.
In Play
Sitting at an average weight for its category, Valkyrie is generally passed over in favour of heavier right-spin Superking Chips like Hyperion 2 and Solomon, or the dual-spin Diabolos and Spriggan; it is unsuitable for the Burst format and ineligible for Burst GT, Burst Limited and Burst Classic.
- Released in Japan on April 25th, 2020 as the B-163 Booster, Brave Valkyrie Evolution' 2A.
- Released in western markets as Valtryek inside Hasbro's Pro Series Starter Pack, Brave Valtryek Evolution' 2A.
