About This Part
Lucifer's face, the DB Core's namesake, casts it as the fallen angel of Abrahamic religion, and Takara Tomy released the right-spin chip in Japan on July 18th, 2020 as the Variant Lucifer Mobius 2D starter; Hasbro's western release renamed it Lucius through its Pro Series Starter Pack line. It is the first of two Lucifer Superking Chips and one of five Superking Chips built with metal.
In Play
Since a metal-cored Solomon outweighs Lucifer 1 and carries a more balanced build, the community treats Solomon as the stronger option.
- Released by Takara Tomy in Japan on July 18th, 2020 as the Variant Lucifer Mobius 2D starter.
- Reissued by Takara Tomy as Variant Lucifer Orbit 2D in a Fire Gold Ver. with B-178 Random Booster Vol. 24, and as a CoroCoro-exclusive Gold Ver. through B-00.
- Released by Hasbro in western countries, renamed Lucius, as the Variant Lucius Mobius 2D Pro Series Starter Pack, later reissued in the Triple Threat Collection as Lucius Fire Gold Ver.
- Lucifer 1 was the first Superking Chip to have its Chip Core fused directly into the chip.
- It was the second Superking Chip to be built with metal, after Solomon.
