About This Part

A dragon's head modeled on the earlier Bloody Longinus Layer gives this chip its look, standing in for its namesake, the Lance of Longinus from Christian folklore. Takara Tomy released the left-spin Superking Chip in Japan on June 27th, 2020 as the Rage Longinus Destroy' 3A booster; Hasbro's western version renamed it Luínor, stylized Lúinor, through its Pro Series Starter Pack line. Its average weight for the category leaves it behind the heavier, metal-bearing Helios 2 and the dual-spin Spriggan.

In Play

The community recommends Helios 2 or Spriggan over Longinus for their added advantages, and treats Longinus as unfit for the Burst format and ineligible in the Burst GT, Limited and Classic formats.
