About This Part
Takara Tomy's Helios put a side profile of the Greek sun god into Japanese stores on March 28th, 2020 inside the King Helios Zone 1B booster, and Hasbro followed in the west with the Kolossal Helios Zone 1B Pro Series Starter Pack. Despite carrying no number of its own, it is counted as the second of the two Helios Superking Chips. It is one of only five Superking Chips built with metal and the only left-spin chip in the line to carry it, arriving with a Metal Chip Core in both of its releases.
In Play
Its heavy build makes Helios 1 a fixture in Attack combinations, including those built around the Rage Ring, though the community still points to the heavier Helios 2 and the dual-spin Spriggan as generally stronger picks.
