About This Part
Takara Tomy released Dragon in Japan on August 8th, 2020 as part of the B-171 Superking Triple Booster Set, giving the Burst System's Superking Layer System a right-spin chip shaped into a dragon's head and claws in keeping with earlier chips carrying the name. Its weight lands in the average range for Superking Chips, which leaves it behind metal-cored rivals such as Hyperion 2 and Solomon and behind the dual-spin Diabolos and Spriggan.
In Play
Because most Superking Chips differ mainly in look rather than function, the community steers toward those heavier or dual-spin alternatives over Dragon, and treats it as unfit for the Burst format and ineligible in the Burst GT, Limited and Classic formats.
- Released by Takara Tomy in Japan on August 8th, 2020 with the B-171 Superking Triple Booster Set.
- Reissued by Takara Tomy with B-186 Random Booster Vol. 26 and, in a Demon King colourway, with B-196 Random Booster Vol. 28.
