About This Part

Diabolos stands out among Superking Chips as Takara Tomy's first dual-spin entry in the line, arriving in Japan on July 23rd, 2020 with B-170 Random Booster Vol. 21. Its mold carries a dragon's head and claws for a demonic look, and because the dual-spin mechanism cannot pair with a separate Metal Chip Core, the metal is built directly into the chip instead. Diabolos and its dual-spin sibling Spriggan can be mounted on any Ring, and the community favours pairing them with the dual-spin World Ring so the matchup's spin direction can be flipped mid-strategy.

In Play

The community rates Diabolos highly for the tactical flexibility of switching spin direction when mounted with the World Ring, an option single-direction Superking Chips cannot offer.

  • Released by Takara Tomy in Japan on July 23rd, 2020 with B-170 Random Booster Vol. 21.
  • Diabolos was the first Superking Chip built with dual-spin capability.
  • It was the second Superking Chip to have its metal Chip Core fused into the chip itself, after Lucifer 1 and ahead of Spriggan and Lucifer 2.
