About This Part
Spryzen S6 carries forward the dual-spin gimmick of earlier Spryzen Layers, letting a blader flip the Storm Chip's spin direction with a dedicated tool built into Hasbro's launchers. Its face sculpt represents the chip's namesake, and Hasbro released it under the Burst System and SpeedStorm System, debuting in western countries inside the World Spryzen S6 and Beast Betromoth B6 Dual Pack. Unlike its Takara Tomy Superking Chip counterpart, it lacks a metal Chip Core, yet it still outweighs nearly every other Storm Chip on the market by roughly half a gram.
In Play
Its right-spin setting only manages average Burst Resistance and loses out to tighter right-spin chips such as Dragon D6, but its left-spin setting posts the highest Burst Resistance of any left-spin Storm Chip, and combined with its heavy build and switchable spin, the community regards Spryzen S6 as a must-have for competitive bladers.
- Released by Hasbro in the World Spryzen S6 and Beast Betromoth B6 Dual Pack.
- Spryzen S6 omits the two centre holes found on other Storm Chips, likely because the dual-spin gimmick requires that space.
