About This Part
Hasbro produced Devolos D6 as a Storm Chip for the Burst System and the SpeedStorm System, and it reached western shelves inside the SpeedStorm Starter Pack, Demise Devolos D6 1B-D Merge-SP. Its sculpt gives the chip a dragon head and claws, evoking the demonic dragon its name references. Rather than casting a single dual-spin piece the way Takara Tomy did for the equivalent Superking Chip, Diabolos, Hasbro split Devolos D6 into two separate molds, one per spin direction, and left out Diabolos's metal Chip Core, so both molds sit at a standard weight for the line.
In Play
Both molds carry only average Burst Resistance, so the community places right-spin Devolos D6 behind tighter right-spin chips such as Dragon D6 and left-spin Devolos D6 behind Spryzen S6, leaving either mold suited to collecting rather than competitive play.
- Released by Hasbro in the SpeedStorm Starter Pack, Demise Devolos D6 1B-D Merge-SP.
