About This Part
Takara Tomy built Upper Wing 145 as a reworking of ED145 and WD145, standing 145 units tall and carrying three broad, sharply pointed wings. The wings lift out and flip over to switch the track between two settings: angled down and clockwise for Attack Mode, angled up and counter-clockwise for Defense Mode.
In Play
The upper attack its name promises does not materialise, because the track sits below the wheel and never meets an opponent's. In Attack Mode the sharp points can land a smash, though the effect is slight. The up-force in Defense Mode does lend it some stamina, working the opposite way to DF145 and T125, but it adds almost no weight, and against tops of ordinary height the wings make no contact at all.
