Description
Known in Japan as Killer Beafowl UW145EWD, this Balance Type stacks a Befall face bolt and energy ring on the Evil fusion wheel, an Upper Wing 145 spin track and an Eternal Wide Defense tip, all under the Hybrid Wheel System. Takara Tomy pulled it from a random booster in Japan in late December 2010, and Hasbro followed with a western Starter Pack release roughly a year later. The Japanese name plays on a pun, folding the peacock-referencing word peafowl into befall.

The competitive view
Covers Killer Beafowl UW145EWD, originally a Random Booster Vol.6 "Rare" later reissued as a SonoKong/Hasbro Starter, whose Killer Metal Wheel and Upper Wing 145 Track are both outclassed but whose Eternal Wide Defense (EWD) Bottom became a genuinely strong, wear-prone stamina alternative to WD.
Killer's thinner build sacrifices the Smash Attack of its Gemios predecessor without gaining meaningful stamina or defense; UW145's Upper Attack effect is negligible due to low wing placement, though its Defense-mode wings can still deliver some Smash Attack; EWD's free-spinning bearing tip gives strong balance and spin retention at low velocity but wears down and loses performance with use.
Verdict as the draft gives it: EWD is cited in the winning stamina combos Hell Kerbecs BD145EWD and Basalt Kerbecs 145/AD145EWD, making the overall Beyblade a worthwhile pickup for EWD alone despite Killer and UW145 being outclassed elsewhere.
- Face: Beafowl - 1.1 grams (Pavo the Peacock)
- Clear Wheel: Beafowl - 2.9 grams, pale pink
- Metal Wheel: Killer - 31.1 grams, thinner two-winged evolution of the Metal System Gemios Wheel
- Track: Upper Wing 145 (UW145) - 3.6 grams, reversible three-wing design switching between Attack Mode (upward, clockwise slopes) and Defense Mode (downward, anticlockwise slopes)
- Bottom: Eternal Wide Defense (EWD) - 1.2 grams, bearing-equipped wide tip
