About This Part

Gravity Ball 145, abbreviated GB145, is a Takara Tomy Spin Track that debuted in Japan on December 26th, 2009 with the BB-60 Random Booster Vol. 4 Mirage Virgo and moved west in August 2010 as the BB-60 Earth Virgo GB145BS Starter Pack. Built wide and round, it houses two loose metal balls that get flung outward as the track spins, generating extra spin-retaining force, though its added heft still leaves it behind later Stamina Type Spin Tracks.

In Play

At launch GB145 lagged behind Claw 145 because it lacks energy-absorbing free-spinning wings, a weakness against the low attackers common at the time, but it later carved out a niche in Defense Type builds against Change Height 120 attackers that don't target the track directly, where the extra weight it offers is a plus; even so, later Spin Tracks such as Boost Disk 145 have since overtaken it for Defense.
