About This Part
Takara Tomy released World for the Burst System's Superking Layer System, debuting in Japan on September 19th, 2020 inside the B-172 Booster, World Spriggan Unite' 2B. Its round perimeter, wide gaps and two heads depict a Spriggan, the Cornish legendary beast the Layer takes its name from, continuing a dual-spin lineage started by Legend Spriggan and Spriggan Requiem; it carries two full sets of teeth so it can be launched right- or left-spin, with matching "Burst Stopper" contact points on each side blocking the Disc from losing its final click no matter which direction it spins.
In Play
Its thick build keeps the blades from ever really reaching an opponent, so competitive players treat World as a Spin-Equalization piece, best launched against the opponent's spin direction to maximize Defense and Stamina rather than as an attacker.
- Debuted in Japan on September 19th, 2020 with the B-172 Booster, World Spriggan Unite' 2B.
- World is the first Superking System Ring that can be reversed for use with dual-spin Beyblades.
