About This Part
Hasbro built Vex as a right-spin Ring for the Burst System's SpeedStorm System, launching it in the SpeedStorm Starter Pack Vex Lucius L6 2D-D Mobius-SP. Twelve small points ring its perimeter, angled downward to turn away incoming attacks, but they project outward far enough that the shape carries heavy recoil rather than the stability a Defense piece needs.
In Play
Its light weight leaves too little inertia to back up that recoil-heavy shape, so competitive players consider it prone to bursting and weak in Attack as well as Defense and Stamina roles, with plenty of stronger Energy Layers available even inside the Burst Limited and Hasbro-Only formats.
- Released in western countries with the SpeedStorm Starter Pack, Vex Lucius L6 2D-D Mobius-SP.
