About This Part
Hasbro built Triumph as a right-spin Ring for the Burst System's SpeedStorm System, launching it with the SpeedStorm Starter Pack Triumph Dragon D6 Armed Charge Metal-SPM. Four wing-shaped blades serve as its main contact points, but unlike its Takara Tomy counterpart Tempest, Triumph skips the mode-change gimmick that extends "Bound Blades," sitting permanently in Tempest's rounder pre-activation form instead. Its hollow underside keeps it as light as the SwitchStrike System's Layers, though unlike most Hasbro Rings it is not raised off the Chassis, which helps its stability.
In Play
That round shape and strong Outward Weight Distribution make it a stronger Defense/Stamina piece than an attacker, with performance competitive players compare to Tide Treptune T3 and Archer Hercules H4, and it holds a real spot in the WBO's Burst Limited Format even though the QuadDrive System's Gambit blade has since matched its shape at a heavier weight.
- Released in western countries with the SpeedStorm Starter Pack, Triumph Dragon D6 Armed Charge Metal-SPM.
- Every Beyblade released with this Ring uses an upside-down stock photo.
- Every CGI render and piece of box art shows the Ring in Tempest's Awakened Mode rather than the Bound Mode the actual product ships in, suggesting an earlier prototype used the Awakened form before the design changed.
