About This Part
Takara Tomy released Super for the Burst System's Superking Layer System, debuting in Japan on March 28th, 2020 inside the B-159 Booster, Super Hyperion Xceed 1A, before Hasbro carried the combination west in the Super Hyperion String Launcher Pack. Each side molds a large and medium blade together with a smaller trailing blade, all angled downward for heavy recoil, and a thick underside lifts Super and its Superking Chip above the Chassis to expose more teeth; it is built to line up with the 1A Chassis, though the 2A Chassis trades some Attack Potential for stronger hits and better Life-After-Death.
In Play
The angled contact points knock an opponent's Layer upward on impact, and the resulting Burst Resistance keeps Super competitive for Knock-Out power alongside Judgement, even though newer Rings and Dynamite Battle Layer System parts have since passed it for pure Attack builds.
