About This Part
Hasbro's Hollow Ring carries one large scythe blade on one side and three smaller blades on the other, an uneven layout meant to destabilize an opponent through the scythe's extra weight. It debuted west inside the SpeedStorm Single Pack, Hollow Doomscizor D6 12 Xceed-SP, and unlike the Takara Tomy version it holds no metal and cannot mount a Chassis at all.
In Play
The imbalance plan falls apart because Hollow carries almost no Stamina and very little overall weight, so instead of knocking an opponent off balance it gets pushed around itself. Even paired with a tight Storm Chip like Dragon D6, it lags behind the heavier, higher-Stamina Takara Tomy version of the same part, and behind Hasbro's own Turbo Valtryek V3 and Nightmare Lúinor L3, both of which hit harder with better Stamina. The community sees it as a display piece rather than a competitive attacker.
- Debuted in western countries with the SpeedStorm Single Pack, Hollow Doomscizor D6 12 Xceed-SP.
