About This Part

Takara Tomy first put First out as a right-spin Attack Type Ring, appearing in Japan's CoroCoro August Issue on July 15th, 2020 before Hasbro carried it west inside the Triple Threat Collection. Six blades run around its rim — a large blade fused to a medium one on each side, trailed by a small blade — all angled downward for a high-recoil profile. Its outline nearly matches the shape of its predecessor Super, but swaps in angular contact points for extra Smash Attack, trims underside support to shave weight, and reshapes the sticker wells on top. Any right-spin or dual-spin Superking Chip and Chassis fits it.

In Play

Those angled points raise its Upper Attack Potential, knocking an opponent's Layer skyward on contact and improving its odds of a knockout, and a thick underside holds the Chip high enough to expose the Chassis teeth well, giving it strong Burst Resistance — together making it a solid choice for Attack Combinations, ideally on a 1A Chassis for maximum Attack and Burst Resistance, or a 2A Chassis for harder hits and far better Life-After-Death. The aggressive tips do chip and dent with use, so some collectors keep a spare copy. Community consensus places it as a middle ground between Smash Attack and Upper Attack, a touch more aggressive than Super and just short of Judgement or Rage in power, but it holds up longer and keeps comparable KO Attack, letting all of them share the competitive scene; even so, it's generally kept as a collection piece rather than a tournament staple.
