About This Part
Hasbro built its own version of Brave as a Right-Spin Attack Type Ring for the SpeedStorm System, launching west inside the Spark Power Set. Three upward-slanted wings characteristic of the Valtryek line form its contact points, ending in mildly sharp tips, and — unlike the Takara Tomy version — the whole piece is molded from plain plastic with no rubber, so it loses the Bound Attack behaviour that the Takara Tomy Brave has.
In Play
Its wings sit shorter and less steep than the Takara Tomy original, and like other Hasbro Rings its underside is noticeably more hollow, leaving it light — around the weight of a SwitchStrike Energy Layer. Dropping the rubber and reshaping the wings cuts its Attack power sharply, and it ends up behind other Attack Layers such as Nightmare Lúinor L3 and Turbo Valtryek V3, which weigh more and hit harder. The community treats it as a collection piece rather than a competitive option.
- Debuted in western countries inside the Spark Power Set.
