About This Part
Xiphoid brings Takara Tomy's Xiphoid BU Blade to Hasbro's line as a right-spin Attack-type part, keeping the blocky outline of the original but built entirely from plastic rather than partly from metal. Its weight is still shifted toward a sword-tip-shaped point, though that point is shorter and more rounded than the Takara Tomy version's, which keeps it from acting as the main striking edge the way it does on the original. It debuted in the Xcalius Power Speed Launcher Set.

Community testing treats QuadStrike Blades such as Xiphoid as too light against Takara Tomy's Dynamite Battle Layer System pieces, so it is not recommended for Burst and is not legal in the Burst Limited or Burst Classic formats.
