About This Part
Lightning is a right-spin Stamina-type Blade whose round shape and pair of orb details echo the Orichalcum O3 Layer, carrying four lightning-bolt markings across its face as part of Hasbro's elemental line. It represents the Lightning Element among the four elemental Blades, alongside Tidal for Water, Twister for Wind and Flame for Fire, and like the rest of the family it shifts between Apex and Core mode by moving its Gravity Ring. It debuted as part of the Thunder Edge Battle Set.
In Play
The round shape favours stamina combinations, but Lightning is lighter than rivals such as Gambit and is considered outclassed for that role; it shows average same-spin stamina but noticeably weak results against opposite-spin opponents.
- Released by Hasbro in the Thunder Edge Battle Set as Lightning Pandora Endless P8 Twist-Q Fusion-Q+Still-7'.
- Also included in the F6779 Quad Creature Battle Set and the F8579 Energy Uprising 4-Pack.
- Lightning is one of four elemental Blades, each pairing a battle type with an element: Water for Tidal, Wind for Twister, Fire for Flame and Lightning for itself.
