About This Part

Flat, abbreviated F, is a Performance Tip Takara Tomy debuted in Japan on August 9, 2008 with the BB-01 Starter Pegasis 105F, and in western countries with the BB-01 Legend Starter Pack Cyber Pegasus 105F. It carries a plastic flat tip that favours mobility and offensive movement, but that plastic surface grips the stadium floor less than rubber tips such as Rubber Flat, making it harder to hold a flower pattern.

In Play

Long after its release, the community sees Flat as overshadowed by Extreme Flat, Metal Flat, Rubber Flat, and Right Rubber Flat, and treats it as worth owning mainly for a collection rather than for tournament play.

  • Debuted in Japan on August 9, 2008 with the BB-01 Starter Pegasis 105F.
  • Its plain flat design is considered a counterpart to the Original Series' Flat, SG Flat Base, and Flat Core, the Burst Series' Accel and its variants, and the X Series' Flat and its variants.
