About This Part
Takara Tomy released Final Drive (F:D), a 4D System Performance Tip, in Japan on March 26, 2011 inside the BB-105 Starter Big Bang Pegasis F:D, and Hasbro's Hyper-Strike Battle Set brought it to western countries in December 2012. A launch sends its two internal sliders outward and ejects a Semi-Flat tip that conserves spin while moving the Beyblade slowly; as rotation drops the tip withdraws and leaves only the rubber base, which behaves like a Rubber Flat and sends the Beyblade circling wildly until its spin is spent.
In Play
The community considers the automatic switch mistimed: it fires at low spin velocity, so the intended late-battle Attack boost arrives too slowly to land effective hits, leaving Final Drive as a piece bladers keep mainly for their collections.
- Debuted in Japan on March 26, 2011 with the BB-105 Starter Big Bang Pegasis F:D.
- Reached western countries in December 2012 with Hasbro's Hyper-Strike Battle Set.
