About This Part
Zillion Zeus is a Stamina Type Layer for the Burst System's Dual Layer line, named for the Greek god of thunder and shaped with a slight ellipse, twin Zs and a pair of faces set into either side. Takara Tomy released it in Japan on September 17th, 2016 with the B-59 Starter, Zillion Zeus Infinity Weight. Its standout feature is a pair of metal balls riding tracks reminiscent of the old GB145 Spin Track, which centrifugal force is meant to push outward and boost Stamina, though in practice the shift in weight is too small to matter much.
In Play
Six symmetrical blades, four of them sloped, mean the pointed front and back edges take contact roughly half the time, and the elliptical shape's heavier rim weight gives strong Outward Weight Distribution that the community credits with solid Stamina retention and Burst Resistance backing up otherwise average teeth; the same shape's recoil even lends some Attack potential, making it a capable choice in Balance combinations such as Zillion Zeus Heavy/Gravity/Knuckle/Down/Spread Orbit/Trans and in Attack pairings like Zillion Zeus Heavy/Gravity Accel/Zephyr. It does not match a dedicated Layer in any one role, and the back edges are known to crack under repeated impact with no mold fix released, so owning spares is advised; the SwitchStrike/God Layer System eventually left it too light to compete, and it now sits in the collection-only tier.
