About This Part
Yegdrion is Hasbro's take on Takara Tomy's Yggdrasil, a Stamina Type Layer for the Burst System sold in western markets through the Single Pack, Yegdrion Ring Edge, model C0943. It keeps the same square outline, twin dragon heads and pair of sloped, claw-like blades that serve as its main contact points, with weight pushed out toward the rim for strong Outward Weight Distribution.
In Play
Moderate slopes give Yegdrion sturdier Burst Resistance than its Takara Tomy counterpart's four short teeth ever managed, though those slopes still lag behind harder-hitting Layers such as Kerbeus, Atlas Anubion A2 and Jumbo Jormuntor J2; in the current standard and limited metagames the community judges it too light to compete and keeps it for collecting, but its Outward Weight Distribution makes it one of the strongest Stamina picks in the WBO's Classic format, where it counts as a must-have, and it anchors the Yegdrion 2/4/7 Glaive/Cross Orbit/Atomic combination against most rival Stamina and Defense builds while remaining exposed to Attack.
- Debuted in western countries with the Single Pack, Yegdrion Ring Edge, model C0943.
The Competitive View
The Takara Tomy release's four short teeth can't handle the recoil from its square shape, leaving it very prone to Burst Finishes and outclassed on Stamina by layers like Doomscizor and Guardian Kerbeus, while the Hasbro version instead uses moderate slopes for better (though still second-tier) Burst resistance; a Hasbro-format Stamina build (Yegdrion Gravity/Heavy/Spread/Knuckle/2/4 Glaive/Cross Orbit/Atomic) can outspin most rival Stamina/Defense setups but loses badly to Attack combos.
Verdict as the draft gives it: The Takara Tomy Yegdrion has no competitive usage and is for collecting only, while the Hasbro version is considered a 'welcome addition' rather than a must-have in the Hasbro-Only Format, still trailing similarly-statted layers like Kerbeus and Jormuntor J2 on Burst resistance.

Works with
- Synergizes with heavy Discs (Gravity/Heavy/Spread/Knuckle/2/4) and Life-After-Death Frames (Glaive/Cross), plus Orbit/Atomic or Accel/Zephyr Drivers depending on the build.
