About This Part
Hasbro built Wonder Valtryek V4 for the Burst System's SlingShock line as the western counterpart to Takara Tomy's Winning Valkyrie, launching it in the Rail Rush Battle Set. The right-spin Attack Type piece copies its counterpart's shape almost exactly but swaps the metal inserts for plastic, which strips roughly 10 grams from the finished Layer. Because Winning Valkyrie itself traces its size back to Victory Valkyrie, Wonder Valtryek V4 ends up performing like Victory Valtryek V2 instead. A Level Chip can be seated underneath it for extra weight and balance.
In Play
Losing the metal costs Wonder Valtryek V4 the added Burst Attack and Knockout potential its Takara Tomy counterpart gets from that mass, and against SwitchStrike-era Layers such as Legend Spryzen S3 and Surge Xcalius X3 it falls behind; the community rates it a collection piece rather than a competitive one.
- Debuted in western countries with the Rail Rush Battle Set.
- Sold individually as model E4727 and included in the E8566 Championship Clash set.
