About This Part

Takara Tomy's Wolborg brings the Burst System's plastic construction to a shape carried over from the Original Series: the four-headed wolf silhouette of the Reverse Wolf Attack Ring, paired with the Wolborg Bit Chip's centre artwork fused permanently into the mold. It launched in Japan on August 11th, 2018 with the B-121 Cho-Z Triple Booster Set. The heads are rounder and more compact than the source Attack Ring, closing the old gaps between blades, and the Layer rides on three tall teeth.

In Play

A single layer of hollow plastic keeps the piece light, and that low mass generates too little inertia to resist bursting, so the community considers this Wolborg a self-burst risk best kept for display rather than battle.

  • Debuted in Japan on August 11th, 2018 with the B-121 Cho-Z Triple Booster Set.
  • A Blue Wolf Ver. recolour was sold as a CoroCoro exclusive.
  • Included in the Bakuten Shoot Beyblade 20th Anniversary Set.

The Competitive View

Its counter-clockwise, recoil-heavy blade shape sits awkwardly between Attack and Stamina roles, and its hollow single-plastic build keeps it very light, giving it little inertia and making it burst out of battles easily.

Verdict as the draft gives it: Recommended for collecting only, since its shape and light weight make it prone to self-bursting.

  • Adapted from the Plastic Generation's Reverse Wolf Attack Ring and Wolborg Bit Chip
  • Overall square/diamond shape with four wolf-head contact points
  • Wolf heads more rounded and compact than the original ring, without the gap between blades
  • Bit Chip is fused/non-removable (unlike the original)
  • Made from a single layer of hollow plastic
  • Ships with 8 Bearing (per reply from brandbrick)

Related parts named in the draft: Reverse Wolf Attack Ring, Wolborg Bit Chip.
