About This Part
Wild Wyvern is a Defense Type Layer Takara Tomy released for the Dual Layer System, its eight blades alternating clear and coloured plastic around a dragon's head that stands in for the Wyvern of its name. It debuted in Japan on April 29th, 2016 through the B-41 Booster Wild Wyvern Vertical Orbit. Despite reading as round at a glance, its true outline is square, and each corner of that square becomes a point of recoil that works against it in Defense play; short, Chaos-style teeth then struggle to absorb that recoil at all.
In Play
The community rates it prone to losing by Burst well before it can put its Defense shape to use, and considers it too light once the SwitchStrike and God Layer Systems arrived, leaving it suited only to collecting.
