About This Part

Victory Valkyrie followed its predecessor Valkyrie into the Burst System's Dual Layer line, debuting in Japan on April 2nd, 2016 with the B-34 Starter Victory Valkyrie Boost Variable. It keeps Valkyrie's three upward-slanted wings, strong for Knock-Out Attack, but trades away some of the earlier Layer's ability to force Bursts. Its teeth are wider and taller than Valkyrie's, built to the model Xcalibur introduced, so they resist wear and absorb the Layer's own recoil well enough to avoid self-Bursting. Three mold variations exist: the first has fully hollow, fragile wings; the second, introduced with the Kirin Limited Campaign Green Ver., adds internal reinforcement bars but still breaks; and the third, debuting in Asian B-57 Triple Booster Set stock and Japanese B-64 Beyblade Super Custom Set Heavy Ver. stock, adds a reinforced centre ring alongside those bars, fixing most of the breakage at the cost of roughly half a gram more weight.

In Play

The community treats the sturdier third-mold copies as the ones worth seeking out, and rates Victory Valkyrie a top Attack pick for the Burst Classic format and a fine substitute for Valkyrie or Xcalibur when those are unavailable, though the later SwitchStrike and God Layer System releases left it too light for current competitive play.
