About This Part
Valtryek is Hasbro's Burst System version of Takara Tomy's Valkyrie, reaching western stores in the Valtryek and Unicrest Dual Pack with the same three-winged, valkyrie-themed design and paired contact points on each wing. Its underside slopes are noticeably weaker than a fresh Valkyrie's teeth, performing closer to a well-worn one, and that weaker Burst Resistance is compounded by the low Burst Resistance of Hasbro's rubber Attack Drivers of the era.
In Play
The community rates it outclassed by Takara Tomy's Valkyrie but comparable to other Hasbro Attack Layer options such as Roktavor and Xcalius, and considers it too light or too Burst-prone for the WBO's Burst, Burst GT, Burst Limited and Burst Classic formats alike.

The Competitive View
The tall, aggressive teeth and sharp contact points make Valtryek one of the strongest layers for both landing and surviving burst finishes, though the teeth wear down quickly and limit how many battles a single copy can perform at its best in.
