About This Part
Tyros T2 is a Balance Type Layer that Hasbro produced for the Dual Layer System, mixing two sets of four blades, decorative chains, a pair of stylized "T"s and a Greek-helmeted, beast-faced centrepiece. It reached western stores through the Tyros T2 and Dark Doomscizor D2 Dual Pack. The two "T" shapes give it Burst Attack points while the blade sets lean the Layer toward Defense, and its low-recoil outline pairs with strong Burst Resistance to make Knock-Out defence its clearest strength.
In Play
The community rates it too light for the current Burst Standard metagame and outclassed by the heavier God Layer System and Cho-Z Layer System options in the Limited format, but it is considered a must for the WBO's Burst Classic format on the strength of its Knock-Out and Burst Resistance.
- Debuted in western countries with the Tyros T2 and Dark Doomscizor D2 Dual Pack as Tyros T2 Infinity Zephyr.
- Reissued as Tyros T6 Magnum Dimension-SP in the F2307 Origin Achilles A6 and Tyros T6 Dual Pack.
