About This Part
Twin Noctemis N3 is Hasbro's SwitchStrike-era rendition of Takara Tomy's Twin Nemesis, matching its elliptical shape and the Nemesis-themed face on one side, and it reached western stores with the Battle Tower set. It carries the same dual-mode gimmick as its counterpart, switching between a downward Smash Mode slope and an upward Upper Mode slope, with Upper Mode again the more effective of the two at destabilizing an opponent's Combination. Where Twin Nemesis relies on tall teeth to manage its own recoil, Twin Noctemis N3 has only weak Burst Resistance and no Dash Driver compatibility to compensate, leaving it with a high risk of Bursting itself.
In Play
The community considers it inferior to Twin Nemesis outright and steers away from it in the Burst, Burst GT and Burst Limited formats for being too light or too Burst-prone against heavier options, and it carries no legality at all in the WBO's Burst Classic format.
- Debuted in western countries with the Battle Tower set as Twin Noctemis N3 2 Jaggy.
