About This Part

Named for the three-pronged weapon of the Roman god Neptune, Trident is a Stamina Type Layer that Takara Tomy put out for the Burst System, first appearing in Japan on September 19th, 2015 through the B-15 Random Booster Vol. 1 Trident Heavy Claw. Its triangular outline carries a trident-shaped ridge across two sides and paired arrowhead points at the corners. Because that shape spreads mass far from the centre, the Layer loses balance and bleeds Stamina quickly in a match, and its flat, shallow, Ragnaruk-style teeth leave it with little power to destabilize opponents or defend itself.

In Play

Competitive players treat it strictly as a collector's piece, since its wide frame trades away Stamina for a design that cannot back it up with either Attack or Defense.
