About This Part
Takara Tomy released Tornado Wyvern as a Defense Type Layer for the Burst System's God Layer System, debuting in Japan on April 29th, 2017 with the B-80 Random Booster Vol. 6 Tornado Wyvern.4G.At. It carries an eight-bladed top half echoing Wyvern's design paired with a free-spinning translucent bottom layer, a gimmick meant to let it parry incoming hits by rotating with an opponent's attack. That spinning ring does sharply boost its resistance to Bursts and Knock-Outs, but four short teeth and wide gaps between the top blades leave it vulnerable to direct contact, and the friction the free ring generates saps its Stamina.
In Play
The community rates it well below Layers such as Alter Chronos and Drain Fafnir, and treats it as a piece for collecting rather than tournament use.
