About This Part

Takara Tomy folded the Metal Series' Pegasis I Face Bolt, Pegasis I Energy Ring and Storm Fusion Wheel — three parts of the old Hybrid Wheel System — into a single Burst-era piece named Storm Pegasis, which launched in Japan on April 27th, 2019 via B-140 Random Booster Vol. 15. The three sources fuse into one non-interchangeable mold that keeps their three-winged shape and moderate Smash Attack, its center carrying the Pegasis I emblem beside the words "Hybrid" and "Wheel." Set against the parts it draws from, the Layer runs noticeably wider, molded in plastic with a metal rim.

In Play

As with other Burst-era remakes of Metal Series parts, the community rates it behind newer Takara Tomy releases and points to its exclusion from the WBO's Burst Limited and Burst Classic formats as further reason to treat it as a collector's piece.
