About This Part

Takara Tomy sent Rising Ragnaruk out in Japan on April 2nd, 2016 through the B-36 Booster fitted with the Gravity Revolve finish, carrying the Dual Layer System forward from its predecessor Ragnaruk. Its elliptical outline keeps that earlier part's general shape, with wings on either side moulded into a head design matching the winged demon of the anime, and most of the piece's weight sits out at those wings, giving it a strong outward weight distribution and flywheel effect meant to favour long spin times.

In Play

Those same wings double as the main points of contact, however, so the recoil they generate cancels out much of the stamina gain the weight distribution would otherwise provide; its teeth are also too weak to survive that recoil despite the shape's apparent attack potential, leaving it prone to losing by burst. The community treats it as too unreliable for competitive stamina or attack play and files it as a collection piece.
