About This Part
On December 30th, 2020, Takara Tomy folded the old Metal Series Hybrid Wheel System part Ray Unicorno into the Burst System, releasing it in Japan through the B-00 Metal Fight Beyblade 2020 Baku Set. The new Layer carries over the Unicorno I Face, Unicorno I Clear Wheel and Ray Metal Wheel design in one right-spin piece with three bumpy wings forming its contact points, and it still splits into a Clear Wheel half and a Metal Wheel half the way the original did, letting those pieces mix with the Galaxy Pegasis and Hell Kerbecs Layers.
In Play
Compared with the original three-part set, the remade Layer runs noticeably wider, with its Metal Wheel section moulded from plastic and lined with metal only around the rim; its burst resistance sits around average, and competitive builders tend to pair it with a Dash Driver to compensate.
- Debuted in Japan on December 30th, 2020 with the B-00 Metal Fight Beyblade 2020 Baku Set.
