About This Part
Orpheus O2 is a round, symmetrical Defense Type Layer Hasbro built for the Burst System's Dual Layer line, launched in the Orpheus O2 and Über Unicrest U2 Dual Pack. Two coloured-plastic blades sweep from front to back, each broken by a gap near the front, backed by two clear orb shapes near the rear and three clear spikes reminiscent of Treptune. String-like moulding runs down the centre alongside a face on the front, the whole design evoking a lyre in reference to Orpheus, the musician of Greek myth.
