About This Part
Ogre O4 is a triangular Attack Type Layer Hasbro released for the Burst System's SlingShock line, launched in the Ogre O4 1 Jaggy-S Single Pack. Three large primary blades and three pairs of smaller secondary blades make up the perimeter, topped by translucent-black, metallic-painted blades, two of them shaped like bony tails; at the centre sits a sideways oni head from Japanese folklore, horned spikes trailing from the back of its skull. Every one of those bony details is moulded in plastic rather than metal, a SlingShock-line trait that keeps it light enough to ride the rail of a SlingShock or Rail Rush Beystadium, though at the cost of extra weight compared with SwitchStrike Layers.
In Play
As with most Turbo-era Layers it accepts a Level Chip fitted underneath for extra mass, which helps offset the lighter SlingShock-driven build.
- Debuted in western countries in the Ogre O4 1 Jaggy-S Single Pack.
