In Play

Weak slopes leave it prone to Bursting, a diminished Flywheel Effect puts its Stamina behind Layers such as Yegdrion and Kerbeus, and the tail end of its elliptical shape adds a further recoil point of its own, so the community keeps it as a collection item rather than a tournament choice.

  • Debuted in western countries in the Spryzen and Odax Dual Pack.
  • Odax takes its name from Odin, ruler of the Norse gods.

The Competitive View

Odax combines Wyvron-like recoil deflection with elliptical-shape stamina, giving it Doomscizor-comparable stamina when its medium-length teeth can absorb the remaining recoil; the Hasbro release weakens the slopes and Flywheel effect, making that version far more burst-prone.

Verdict as the draft gives it: Once a top-tier part that was banned in tournaments, later legalized again after being outclassed; the Takara Tomy version is a welcome collection addition, while the Hasbro version is fit for collecting only.

  • Debuted B-17 Odin Central Blow, October 17, 2015, silver-gray
  • Second mold: +0.2 g on reinforced side
  • Also released: B-24 06 Odin Armed Claw (translucent light blue), B-24 07 Odin Oval Fusion (purple), Random Booster Vol. 2
  • Hasbro: Spryzen and Odax Dual Pack (silver-gray), Odax Central Blow (grey/orange paint)
