About This Part

Left Aeclipse, styled Left αeclipse on the packaging, is a Balance Type Layer that Takara Tomy released for the Burst System and the Cho-Z Layer System in Japan on October 20th, 2018 with the B-126 Cho-Z Musou Beystadium. It forms when Left Apollos and Right Artemis are joined through their shared split gimmick around Left Apollos' centre piece, pairing Left Apollos' spiked half with Right Artemis' three-bladed half to stand in for a solar eclipse, and lines its blades with the metal that the Cho-Z Layer System introduces, making it heavier than most of the God Layer System's parts.

In Play

The hybrid build aims for a blend of offence and defence but, as with most Balance Type parts, ends up middling at both, since each half carries too little recoil to attack well and too much to defend or hold stamina, even against opposite-spinning rivals; the fixed gimmick also rules out fitting a Level Chip. The community rates it as outclassed by Layers such as Winning Valkyrie, leaving it a piece for the collection rather than the arena.
