About This Part
King Kerbeus K2 is Hasbro's take on the chain-and-blade defensive Layer for the Burst System and the Dual Layer System, debuting in western markets in the Starter Pack, King Kerbeus K2 Limited Press. It carries over the low-recoil mould of Takara Tomy's Kaiser Kerbeus essentially unaltered.
In Play
It kept the same soft recoil and weak stamina as its Takara Tomy counterpart but gained noticeably stronger Burst resistance, which made it one of the top defensive picks in the Hasbro-era competitive scene; even so, the SwitchStrike and God Layer Systems that followed left it too light to remain competitive, so the community now treats it as a collector's item.
