About This Part
Jumbo Jormuntor J2 is Hasbro's western counterpart to Jail Jormungand, produced for the Burst System and the Dual Layer System. It reached western shelves bundled with Ferro Fengriff F2 in a dual pack, sharing the same round, chain-linked mould and dual-serpent design as its Takara Tomy source.
In Play
Its firmer slopes made it a strong defensive choice in the Hasbro-only competitive scene, strong enough to be barred from the Burst Classic format, but the arrival of the SwitchStrike and God Layer Systems left it too light to keep up, and the community now treats it as a collector's piece.
