About This Part
Takara Tomy released Holy Horusood in Japan on May 28th, 2016 with the B-44 Booster, Holy Horusood Upper Claw, part of the Burst System's Dual Layer System. Named for the falcon-headed Egyptian god Horus, the Stamina Type Layer centres a bird bearing the Eye of Horus and four feathered wing-blades, two in clear plastic and two coloured and waved.
In Play
Despite an initial round appearance, the community notes it is actually square underneath, and the corners of that shape along with the waves in the coloured blades create recoil that works against stamina play; those waves offer some destabilization potential, but their feathered edges are too rough to rely on for it. Four teeth, one short and three medium-short, leave it prone to bursting under that recoil, and later Cho-Z Layers such as Hell Salamander and Archer Hercules left it too light to compete.
- Debuted in Japan on May 28th, 2016 in the B-44 Booster, Holy Horusood Upper Claw.
- Reissued in translucent red-orange in the B-61 Random Booster Vol. 4 as Holy Horusood Vertical Jaggy.
- Reissued in translucent lime green in the B-61 Random Booster Vol. 4 as Holy Horusood Triple Orbit.
- Holy Horusood was the second Beyblade built around Horus, following Vulcan Horuseus.
