About This Part
Hasbro brought Guardian Kerbeus K4 west under the Burst System's SlingShock System, launching it in a dual pack alongside Blizzard-X Giga Gaianon G4. It repeats the three-dog-head Cerberus design of Takara Tomy's Guardian Kerbeus, but because SlingShock rather than SwitchStrike governs this version, it drops the soft chain segments that gave the original its "Bound Defense" gimmick.
In Play
The community judges that loss inconsequential since the original gimmick barely functioned anyway, and rates Guardian Kerbeus K4's tighter slopes as a genuine upgrade, giving it strong burst resistance that erases the weak-tooth problem of its Takara Tomy counterpart. Later Takara Tomy Layers surpass it, but it remains a solid choice in the WBO's Burst Limited format or in Hasbro-only play, and otherwise the community treats it as a collector's piece.
- Debuted in western countries in the Guardian Kerbeus K4 and Blizzard-X Giga Gaianon G4 Dual Pack, product E4745.
- Recoloured as Inferno-X Guardian Kerbeus K4 in the E6780 Element-X Pack.
- The Beyblade Burst App once mislabelled Guardian Kerbeus K4 with the name Hazard Kerbeus, a separate SlingShock Layer, before the error was corrected.
